A breakfast for founders who follow Jesus

One morning a month, 12 founders sit down for breakfast at a local church at 6:45. We open the Bible together, then spend the rest of the time working through real challenges in each other’s businesses. It’s free, and you’re at work by 8:30.

Let’s be honest for a second

Running a business gets lonely

Your team doesn’t need to hear about the cash flow scare. Your spouse has heard about it every night this week. And most founder events turn into a room full of people trading business cards and saying things are great.

You’re probably up this early anyway.

Reading email in the dark. Doing payroll math in your head before the coffee’s even done.

So once a month, take that hour to a table full of people who’ve carried the same stuff.

Welcome to Christian Founders

A peer group that meets over breakfast. Think of the most useful conversation you’ve had with another business owner, then picture having it every month with people who pray.

Here’s how this works.

First, find the table closest to you

Each city meets at a partner church on the same weekday morning every month. Put it on the calendar once and stop thinking about it.

See the cities

Then bring something real

A hire you’re unsure about, a partner who’s drifting, a month where the numbers just don’t work. Two or three founders get the floor each morning. Everyone else brings what they’ve lived through.

Read the playbook

And keep coming back

You’ll sit with the same 12 founders all year. By month three they know your business pretty well, and they will ask how that thing went.

A local church opens up its fellowship hall. We bring eggs, biscuits, and probably too much coffee. You bring the thing in your business that kept you up last Tuesday.

Where we eat

Raleigh is up and running. We’re lining up churches and hosts across North Carolina, Virginia, and South Carolina next. If your city isn’t here, you might be the person who starts it.

What people say on the drive home

go ahead, move them around

“I came in thinking I had a sales problem. Twenty minutes in it was pretty obvious I had a hiring problem. Nobody told me that, they just asked better questions than I'd been asking myself.”

“Only meeting on my calendar I haven't rescheduled once.”

DanaDesign studio

“I've paid for a mastermind before. This was better, and somebody prayed for me by name at the end.”

JamesFreight & logistics

“A guy at my table had already been through an SBA loan mess. Probably saved me four months.”

PriyaBakery owner

“My wife asked why I come home from breakfast in a better mood. Honestly? I'm around people who get it.”

“I was the quiet one for two months. Month three I brought something. Glad I did.”

Questions people ask

ask us anything else at the table

Yes. Breakfasts, retreats, all of it. We're a 501(c)(3) and donors cover the cost. If you ever want to help with that, there's a Give button up in the corner. Nobody is going to ask you twice.

No. The church hosts us, and that's all it means. You can go to any church, or still be figuring that part out.

If you own a business or run one, you're in. Two-person shop, 200 employees, a food truck. We mix stages at each table on purpose, because the person three years ahead of you tends to be the most useful one in the room.

That's normal most months. Two or three people bring something each time. The rest of the table listens well and shares what they've been through, which is just as important.

House rule: no pitching at the table. If someone wants to hire you after hearing how you think through a problem, they'll find you in the parking lot.

Each city picks one weekday morning and sticks with it. Breakfast is on the table at 6:45 and we wrap at 8:15, so you're at work by 8:30.

Yes, but have them request their own seat. Sometimes we'll put cofounders at different tables so you both get more out of it.

See you at 6:45
